The 7th round of battle in the 2013 Miltown Beat Down brought a lot of surprises and a ton of great beats. The night featured MTBD veterans Goodwill and Klassik, battling freshmen Lynd-Oh and Allerain. A battle for the books, we had some great moments in this round of competition.
This battle really came down to the scores. Many of our judges were in disagreement with who the victor was in each of these battles. As you can see by the point spread below, it came down to a few marks on many of these battles. It was a very good night of competition.

Back again at the Jackalope Lounj for another round of preliminary battles. We had an impressive list of special guests in the house for this battle. Hip Hop legends Pharoahe Monch, Jean Grae and DJ/Producer Mr. Len.
They were in town for a True Skool event at UWM, and came by afterwards to check out the sounds of the Miltown Beat Down. Some great things came out of this, including some valuable networking with Pharohe and D-Ski, and some awesome tweets from Jean aka JeanGreasy…
Night four featured rookies Mike Regal and Bitch House 20/20, plus MTBD vets Bubba and D-Ski the Ill Eagle. Points were close and of our five judges, one had Mike Regal as the winner, one had D-Ski, but 3 selected BUBBA. When the dust cleared and the points were added up, BUBBA was named the winner
