SALVA; A versatile solo producer, crowd riling DJ, owner of the revered Frite Nite label (B. Bravo, Eprom, Ana Sia) and key figure in the Friends of Friends collective, Paul Salva knows how to control a room. After dropping one of 2012’s biggest tracks, a collaborative remix of Kanye West’s “Mercy” that not only reached #1 on Soundcloud, but Salva has also worked with such greats as Kurupt, Schoolboy Q, Diplo, Dâm-Funk, Shlomo, and many others.  A Milwaukee area native who developed his craft in San Francisco and currently resides in Los Angeles, Salva has been invited to perform on the world’s biggest stages.

Performing at over 300 events a year for the past decade, LA producer/DJ and Milwaukee native, Kid Cut Up’s roster runs strong with some of the country’s highest rated clubs including Sound (LA), Playhouse (LA), Lure (LA), The Mid (Chicago) and many more. Some of the artists he has performed alongside include Pitbull, N.E.R.D., Z-Trip, Ne-Yo, B.O.B. and Wiz Khalifa.

This year’s battle will follow the rules of our traditional head to head battle, and again will be structured in a round robin style competition.  Each of these producers will battle each of the other producers one time, for a total of  six rounds of competition each night.

Battles will be held in the Jackalope Lounj, inside the Wicked Hop bar and restaurant, at 345 n. Broadway, in Milwaukee’s Third Ward.
The Finals are November 8th at the Miramar Theater.. more details on that coming soon.
